This is the SADDEST data I've seen in a long time.
62% of the Class of 2024 is about to graduate and set themselves up for decades of underpayment.
All because we've allowed them to believe a LIE.
So let me just say it loud and clear:
There is no employer in the world who will dismiss amazing talent because... <gasp>... they had the audacity to negotiate.
As a hiring manager myself, I not only am open to negotiation - I WANT you to negotiate.
Why?
Because if you have the guts to negotiate for yourself, imagine what you can do for my organization and the millions of kids we serve.
So please SHARE this post so we can root out this poisonous untruth.
That way, not one more future leader crosses the graduation stage only to sell themselves short.
